What this is — and is not

Ritz Ariona publishes analysis, probabilities and commentary about NBA markets. It is not a bookmaker, takes no bets, holds no wagering licence and handles no wagering money. Nothing on this site is financial, investment or betting advice; probabilities are our model's opinions, published with their uncertainty, and they will sometimes be wrong.

No outcome is ever guaranteed. A published record — including the 2025–26 season replay, which is a labelled backtest — describes the past and does not promise the future. If you choose to bet, you do so entirely at your own risk, with a licensed operator of your choosing, and it is your responsibility to ensure betting is legal where you are.

This site is for people aged 18 or over. If gambling is a problem for you or someone near you: Gambling Help Online, 1800 858 858 (Australia). Never bet money you cannot afford to lose.

Passes and refunds

Access is sold as one-time passes — nothing auto-renews and no card is kept on file by us. Checkout is processed by Shopify. Monthly passes carry a 7-day refund on your first purchase; season passes refund pro-rata within the first 14 days. Founding seats keep their price only while renewed before each opening night, as described on the pricing page.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee or right under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded by agreement.

A pass is for your personal, non-commercial use. Sharing accounts, scraping, automated harvesting of the board, or reselling desk content are not permitted and are grounds for cancelling access, with a refund of the unused portion.

Pick-em competition rules

The pre-season pick-em is a free game of judgment: entry costs nothing, no purchase is necessary, and there are no cash prizes. Points earned may be redeemed against access passes only; they have no monetary value, cannot be transferred or sold, and expire at the end of the season they were earned in.

Picks lock at the published lock time, enforced by our server. One entry per person; entries made through automation, duplicate accounts or manipulation may be voided. The ladder displays your chosen handle, never your email. If the game must be cancelled or altered for reasons outside our control, we may substitute prizes of equivalent value or void the round, and our decision on scoring is final.

Content and fair dealing

Everything the desk publishes — analysis, numbers, design, code, words — belongs to Ritz Ariona. You're welcome to quote small excerpts with attribution; wholesale republication needs written permission.

Ritz Ariona is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the National Basketball Association or any of its teams. Team and player names appear only to identify the games and markets being analysed.

Liability, changes, and the law

To the maximum extent permitted by law: the service is provided as-is; we are not liable for betting losses, lost profits, or indirect loss arising from use of the site; and our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. None of this limits rights that the law says cannot be limited.

We may update these terms; material changes take effect when posted here with a new date, and continued use after that is acceptance. If part of these terms is found invalid, the rest stands. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and disputes belong to the courts there.
