We collect almost nothing. Here’s the almost.
This is the plain-language version, and it is the one that binds us.

What we collect
- Your email address. It is how a seat is issued and how you sign in: a code goes to it, and when a seat is ready, a one-tap sign-in link that works once, within a day. There is no password. We see the address; a masked form of it is shown back to you in the app.
- Continue with Google, if you choose it. Google tells us the email address on your Google account and that Google has verified it. We ask for nothing else — not your name, photo or contacts — we keep only the address, and we use it only to sign you in. Your Google password never reaches us. It is the same account as signing in with that email: it buys nothing, and a seat still comes only from a purchase made with that address.
- Purchase details. Checkout runs on Shopify, which processes your name, email and payment under its own security, and keeps the payment method on file for renewals. We receive each order and the email it was paid with. We never see or store your card number. If you start a checkout and leave before paying, the store may send one reminder to the address you entered.
- The free look and the list, until 10 October 2026. If you took a free look or left your email on this site before then, we keep your email address, the day you left it and the day your look ends, and the name of the site you came from if your browser sends one. The list sends no email any more; the unsubscribe link in any email it sent still works.
- What you do in the app. Your settings, layout, watchlist and price floors follow your account so they are the same on every device. Your devices are listed by browser and last-seen time so you can sign one out.
- The community chat. The name you post under, your messages, the lines you tag on them, pictures you share (resized on your device, with camera metadata dropped), what you are on, and the numbers you put down. Other members can see these, and the ladder shows your chat name beside how well your numbers read the night; the rest of the internet cannot.
- My Edge. Your logged bets are encrypted in your browser with a passphrase only you hold. The copy we keep so you can sync between devices is ciphertext. We cannot read it, and we cannot recover it if you lose the passphrase.
- Ordinary server logs. Our host records standard request data — IP address, user agent, time — to serve pages and block abuse, as every host does. Our sign-up form keeps a scrambled, keyed code of your network address for an hour, to stop floods — never the address itself.
What we do with it
Your email is used for sign-in codes, a welcome when you sign up, receipts, a note before a renewal is charged, and, now and then, a note about the Terminal — when it opens, when the season starts, what is new. Our emails come from support@ritzariona.com and nowhere else. Signing up for a free account says yes to those notes, and nothing more. Every note that is not a code, a receipt or a renewal notice carries a one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing works immediately, as Australia’s Spam Act requires.
We do not sell, rent or trade anything about you. For traffic measurement we use, when it is switched on, Cloudflare Web Analytics: cookieless and aggregate, it sets no cookies, follows you to no other site and builds no profile.
When our advertising runs, this site uses the Meta pixel to measure which ads work and to show our ads to people who visited. It sees standard event data — pages viewed, a checkout started — never your email from our forms. Block it with any content blocker or opt out in your Meta ad settings; the site works the same either way. If we add other measurement, it is named here first.
Who touches the data
A short list, each doing one job. Cloudflare hosts the site and runs the app’s service and its storage. Shopify runs checkout, holds the customer records for purchases and sends the store’s own emails: the receipt, the note before a renewal and, if a checkout is left unfinished, one reminder. Resend delivers our emails: sign-in codes, the welcome, the seat-ready email and the notes. Google, if you choose Continue with Google, confirms your email address to us and nothing more. Google Fonts serves the typeface, so Google’s servers see the standard request your browser makes. Player photos and team logos load from the NBA’s and ESPN’s image servers, which see those requests too. None of them may use your data for their own purposes beyond running their service — except Shopify, which also uses checkout data under its own privacy policy, for example to stop fraud and improve its services.
Sessions and cookies
Signing in sets one cookie on the Terminal’s address: a signed session token naming your account and that device. It lasts a year and renews itself whenever you open the Terminal, until you sign out; an account stays signed in on two devices at most, and a third sign-in signs the oldest out. Continue with Google sets one more for ten minutes while Google answers, so the answer can only land in the browser that asked. We set no advertising cookies of our own. The app keeps the last night’s lines on your device so it opens offline. Clearing site data removes all of it.
How long we keep it
Account details for as long as the seat exists, and for the period after it ends that tax and consumer law require for purchase records. Community chat posts until you remove them or we do. The encrypted ledger until you delete it in the app or ask us to.
Your rights
Email support@ritzariona.com and we will show you what we hold on you, correct it, or delete it — usually within a few days. If you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR gives you these rights formally; we honour them for everyone rather than checking passports. Deletion requests are final.
This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we delete it if we learn we have.
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the change lands on this page with a new date before it takes effect.
